Wherever your travels are taking you next, we're covering everything you need to know about some of the most prominent tennis destinations.
JOHN NEWCOMBE TENNIS RANCH:
Acing Hospitality in the Heart of TX
The John Newcombe Tennis Ranch has been a pillar of the Texas tennis community for over 55 years. The Ranch emerged in 1968 when No. 1 player in the world and now 26-time Grand Slam Champion, John Newcombe, purchased the rundown dude ranch to create a US home base while on tour.
š With 31 courts including four covered and four clay courts, an array of room options, and fun off-court activities, Newkās has managed to grow while still maintaining the unique fusion of Aussie sportsmanship that became famous during Newcombe and his mates hey days, along with Texas hospitality.
š¾ Now the site of a world class year-round academy, junior camps, and adult camps, the Ranch has truly become a tennis mecca in central Texas and continued its tradition of excellence.
šÆ The Newkās experience is unlike any other, and the energy is apparent as soon as you enter the main lodge to check in.

š¾š¾š¾š¾š¾ āSome of the most fun we've ever had playing. Beautiful resort, great weather, friendly people, and most importantly, amazing staff. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Our pro, Alan Roth was outstanding. He kept everything running smoothly and was a real gem to the overall feel of everything. Can't wait to go back to see him and all of our new friends at The Boca."āL.F., September 2023
PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach, FL
š¾š¾š¾š¾š¾ "I absolutely LOVE PGA National tennis! My family and I used to vacation regularly to Palm Beach Gardens. So much so, that we joined the PGA National Club for tennis, golf and recreation. As of last summer, we moved down to PBG permanently! A large part of our decision to move was based on our experience at PG National. I met so many nice, friendly and active people through the tennis center. Now, these part-time acquaintances have become my good friends. I love waking up every day to play tennis at a fantastic facility, with amazing pros and an embracing tennis community! 5 stars in my book!"āT.M., Adv. Int., May 2018
